Privacy Policy

This explains what D Edge collects and how we use it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your account, we do not sell your data, and we never store your card details.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and login, handled through our authentication provider (Supabase).
- The name you choose: an optional display name you set for how the app greets you.
- Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and plan, but we never see or store your card number.
- Support messages: anything you send us through the Support form, plus your email so we can reply.
- Usage: basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
- Access records: when you use the service we record your IP address, an anonymized device identifier, and the date. We use this only to keep accounts secure and to detect subscriptions being shared between multiple people, which our Terms don't allow. We do not use it to track you across other websites, we do not sell it, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
- On your device: some things (like your Chalk Board notes and preferences) are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers.
How we use it
To provide and secure the service, process your subscription, greet you by name, answer support requests, and improve D Edge. That's it.
Who we share it with
Only the providers that make the service work: Stripe for payments and Supabase for authentication and hosting. They process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
Cookies and local storage
We use only what's necessary to keep you logged in and to remember your on-device preferences and notes. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Security and retention
We rely on established providers (Supabase, Stripe) and reasonable safeguards to protect your data, and keep it only as long as needed to run your account or as required by law. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can update your chosen name in the app, cancel your subscription at any time, and request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where the law requires.
Children
D Edge is for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes; material updates will be posted here with a new effective date.
